    I downloaded twice and opened once with WINRAR and then again with 7 zip and keep getting broken/corrupted files. Is that normal?

    Welcome to the forums, wolfblade!

    No, of course this is not normal. Sorry, I know it's a major pain when that happens - especially with a huge download like that.

    Rest assured that the uploads are OK - there where hundreds of downloads without issue so far.

    I heard that WinRAR occasionally corrupts larger 7z archives, but 7-zip should work reliably, as it is also used to compress the archives.

    Wolfblade, you are not the only one with this problem - I have another report of a download being corrupted. I have notified ModDB (the guys that host the files) of the issues and wait for their response.

    A little update on the download problems some people encountered.

    Just had another email exchange with ModDB and apparently the file corruption on FileFront got fixed. When the ModDB guys tried the downloads today everything came down intact, and meanwhile several people reported successful downloads from both FileFront and StrategyInformer, so hopefully it is all sorted out now.

    Ack still getting issues. I'm gonna dl the old version and update it up and see what happens.

    I'm set to make this work, either that or the three extractors aren't working correctly or something. I can drop what it gets into a folder and activate it but it makes all the menus and stuff turn white and the game crashes if I try to start a mission.

    I've insured I've updated to GR 1.4 btw.

    Sorry to hear that, Wolfblade. At this point I have no idea what may still be causing some downloads to fail.

    Anyhow, I've uploaded the full install for PC to my personal FileFront account again as an alternate download option (download worked just fine for me).

    Excellent got it to work and I'm loving every minute of it!

    Adds a whole new life to this game. I think the weapons selection is right on. I can actually tailor the loadouts to meet mission parameters for once. Now I can have support gunners with silenced capability (I got every baddie in the downed F/A-18 mission without them returning one shot!)

    And now a good 80+ more maps to play. I'm in heaven. Thanks guys!
